Project Logistics

Oversized and heavy cargo for industrial, energy and construction projects, planned and moved under our ISO-certified QHSE system, from the supplier's factory to the job site.

Overview

Heavy, oversized and complex shipments

Project cargo is about more than finding a truck or a vessel. A turbine blade, a transformer or a production line has to be surveyed, lifted, secured, permitted and escorted, often on a schedule fixed by the project, not by the carrier.

Our project team plans the full transport concept before anything moves, and runs it under our ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified management system, so quality, environment and safety are part of the plan from day one.

What our project team does

Planning & surveys

Before quoting, we check the route: bridges, roundabouts, height limits, port and site access. The result is a transport plan you can rely on.

Lifting and securing plans

Risk assessment

Ocean & air

Breakbulk, heavy-lift or flat-rack sea freight, or an air charter when the deadline does not allow a sailing.

FAQ

Questions we often get

What counts as project cargo?

Cargo that does not fit standard containers or trucks because of its size or weight, or a shipment of many pieces that must arrive in sequence for a project.

What information do you need to quote?

The dimensions and weight of each piece, the lifting points, the pickup and delivery addresses, and the dates the project requires.

Do you handle the permits for exceptional transport?

Yes. We apply for the permits, arrange escorts and agree the timing of the move with the authorities.

How do you manage safety?

Project shipments run under our ISO 45001 certified occupational health and safety system, with risk assessments and lifting plans agreed before any move.

Can you handle the whole project, not just the transport?

Yes. We can coordinate the full chain, from the supplier's factory to the job site, including customs and on-site delivery.
