Overview

Sea freight for regular flows and one-off shipments

Most of Tunisia's trade moves by sea, through Radès and the ports of Sfax, Sousse and Bizerte. ATLS books containers with the major shipping lines and takes care of the paperwork on both sides, so your goods are not held at the port waiting for a missing document.

For regular volumes, our space agreements with the carriers help keep your bookings confirmed in peak season. For smaller shipments, we consolidate your cargo with other customers' goods so you only pay for the space you use.

FAQ

Questions we often get

When should I choose FCL over LCL?

As a rule of thumb, once your cargo fills around half of a 20-foot container, a full container is often the better price. It is also faster at destination, because there is no unpacking at a consolidation warehouse.

Which ports do you work with?

Mainly Radès, Tunisia's main container port, and also Sfax, Sousse and Bizerte. Abroad, we work with the main ports served by the shipping lines.

What documents does an export need?

At minimum, a commercial invoice and a packing list. Depending on the goods and the destination, you may also need a certificate of origin or an EUR.1 for preferential duty in the EU. We tell you exactly what applies.

Can you collect from my factory?

Yes. We arrange the container or truck collection, loading and transport to the port, and the same on arrival.

How do I know where my container is?

Your contact at ATLS follows the vessel and the container status and keeps you updated at each step, from loading to delivery.
